I don’t know if people even look at this blog anymore. How many months have passed that I’ve written anything at all? Has it been a couple of years now? Or was it just six or seven weeks ago…?
Yeah, it was about five weeks ago since my last post.
Who knew I’d be writing a post today. Does anyone still read my gibberish anymore? Oh well… maybe it’s better this way. Having a blog that nobody really comments on is quite a relief. I don’t have to worry much about what other people think most of the time, especially if a book is delayed. I don’t have anyone nagging me about when I’ll finish anything. I do hate to keep some people waiting though, but it is what it is.
Forgive me if I have no gifs or cute little avatars running around the screen, doing adorable things. I’m extremely tired; my life has been so busy with numerous projects this blog has been on the back-burner for a very long time. I did try to keep you guys posted and put up some sketches that Nicoy drew for the comics. If you’re curious as to why I’m here…. I just couldn’t sleep, so I decided to write an update on my compelling, yet boring life.
I’ve been working a lot these days. Work takes up so much of my time that I hardly get a chance to do any writing whatsoever. But that’s all about to change real soon. I’ve realized I can’t keep putting everything off, and I’ll be writing little by little each day. It sounds crazy, but maybe I’ll find the willpower to get this series straightened out, once and for all.
Before, I couldn’t finish anything in the series, because quite frankly I didn’t have any time whatsoever. From 4 am to 11 pm was my full work schedule. I think I was working like fourteen hours a day or more, almost sixty hours a week.
I was actually working two jobs at one point: one full time and the other part-time. The part-time job was a new place for me and it helped a little, but I eventually had to quit. There was just no way I could move up in the company––mostly a dead-end job.
Don’t get me wrong, the part-time job had some nice people but the management and the hours was a huge problem for me. I had an interesting situation at my other job, where things got kinda weird. I can’t tell you too much about it, but it’s up in the air at the moment.
I may start posting chapters as soon as tomorrow, whether random or not, just to get back in the habit of writing again. I desperately need my practice; I have to make sure I don’t lose my important skills, even though I’ve been writing for years. I seriously miss doing what I love, and I want to finish my older projects in a timely manner. We’ll see in due process if things finally settle down in the long run.
Anyhoo, you guys take care and have a goodnight.
Over and out.
